Upper Respiratory Infection (Uri) Symptoms

An upper respiratory infection, or URI, is characterized by coughs, a congested or runny nose, sore throat, and fever. Most cases of URI will go away on their own, but you should seek medical care if you experience a severe fever or if symptoms persist for more than two weeks.
Symptoms of a URI include runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, cough, headache, fever, and body aches. You may also experience fatigue, congestion, or a loss of appetite.
