Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence is when a person struggles to control their urine stream. While on rare occasions you may accidentally urinate while laughing, frightened, or sick, you should be able to control it most of the time. If you are experiencing regular episodes of incontinence, talk with a nearby Carbon Health about what may be causing it.

Urinary incontinence can be caused by a variety of factors, including weakened pelvic muscles, nerve damage, prostate problems, or underlying medical conditions. It may also be a side effect of medication or due to changes in diet or fluid intake.
