Diabetes Screen (A1C Test)
If you show symptoms of diabetes, your healthcare provider may order a diabetes screen. The most common type of screening is an A1C test, which will measure your blood sugar (glucose) levels. A high score will indicate you are at risk for developing diabetes, but it does not confirm diabetes on its own. Schedule a visit and get tested at Carbon Health.
- A1c tests can be done in the clinic by a simple fingerstick, which requires only 1.5ul of blood. It can also be measured in the lab with routine blood work.
