Muscle Cramps

Muscle cramps are involuntary contractions of the muscle that might be painful and disruptive to sleep. Occasional cramps are normally due to strain, but if your cramps occur often or last longer than ten minutes, talk with a nearby Carbon Health.
Muscle cramps are typically caused by involuntary contractions or spasms of one or more muscles in the body, which can occur for a variety of reasons. Some common causes of muscle cramps include dehydration, electrolyte imbalances (such as low levels of potassium, calcium, or magnesium), muscle fatigue or overuse, poor blood circulation, nerve compression, and certain medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, or thyroid disorders.
