Breast Lump

A breast lump is a mass or swelling that can be felt within the breast tissue. Breast lumps can have a variety of causes, including benign (non-cancerous) conditions such as fibroadenomas or cysts, or more serious conditions such as breast cancer. Breast lumps may or may not be painful, and their characteristics can vary depending on the underlying cause.
A cancerous breast lump can have different characteristics, but generally, it feels different from a normal breast lump or cyst. A cancerous breast lump may feel hard, irregular in shape, and usually doesn't move around easily when touched. It may also feel different from the surrounding breast tissue, and may be associated with changes in the skin texture or nipple discharge.
