Glucose Test

Glucose tests help you measure the glucose levels in your blood. Low or high glucose levels might signal potential health issues. Pregnant people should receive a glucose test in their third trimester, as they're at risk of developing gestational diabetes, a condition unique to pregnancies.
A normal glucose level range can vary slightly depending on the source and specific circumstances. In general, for adults, a fasting blood glucose level (measured after an overnight fast of at least 8 hours) between 70 to 100 mg/dL (3.9 to 5.6 mmol/L) is considered within the normal range. After meals, blood glucose levels may rise temporarily, but they typically return to the fasting range within a few hours.
