Malaria Vaccine

Malaria is a disease transmitted by parasites, especially prevalent in tropical areas. Preventative medications can be taken prior to traveling to these regions that reduce the risk of contracting malaria. A vaccine exists, but access is limited to populations that are at serious risk. Talk with your healthcare provider to see if you're able to receive the malaria vaccine.
