Red Eye

"Red eyes", or bloodshot eyes, occurs when blood vessels in the eye become inflamed or irritated. Sometimes your eyes are red after a night's rest, but other cases may be due to issues like allergies or infection. Contact your healthcare provider if you're experiencing red eyes and aren't sure why.
