Virginia Owens, NP
Primary Care & Virtual Primary Care
"My role is to help you navigate your health with clarity, compassion, and confidence so you never have to face it alone."
Education
Walden University, Masters in Nursing
Virginia Owens, NP believes a primary care provider serves as the "goalie" of a patient's health—helping them navigate the many biological, behavioral, and systemic factors that influence well-being. Her approach is compassionate, holistic, and patient-centered, with a focus on balancing healthcare recommendations with each individual's personal goals and priorities.
She has cared for a diverse range of patients throughout her career, including active-duty military members, veterans, adolescents, adults, older adults, women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, migrants, and individuals living with HIV. Her experience spans major healthcare challenges, including caring for patients on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic while completing her graduate training and board certification as a nurse practitioner.
Outside of work, she prioritizes gratitude, staying active, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. She enjoys golfing with her husband, hiking, playing tennis, listening to music, and is currently learning to play the ukulele.
