In this update, we’ll share some thoughts on a tuberculosis outbreak, primary care access, a new certification for CarbyOS, and our partnership program.

Aadil Vora, DO MBID, Northwest Area Medical Director
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about tuberculosis (TB) as cases rise both locally and nationally. As an airborne, highly infectious disease, TB can present with cold-like symptoms that don’t go away, a blood cough or unintentional weight loss and night sweats. However, many acquire it without any symptoms if they have been near those who did.

TB is serious because it can cause permanent lung damage and spread to other organs. In San Francisco, we’ve been working closely with the city to manage and treat cases as they emerge. Luckily, TB is treatable, so getting tested, if you think you are at risk, and treated early is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Carrie Slaughter, Massachusetts Area Director
We offer primary care in Northern California, Massachusetts, and recently expanded to New Jersey. Many patients can be seen same day and for those scheduling appointments, we offer bookings within two weeks, well ahead of the four week national average. But we think we can do even better. Recently, we introduced a ‘fast track’ workflow to proactively reach out to patients when an earlier slot opens up. We know patients want to be seen sooner, and honestly we want the same thing.

Haritha Atluri, Sr. Director of Product
We're incredibly proud to share that CarbyOS, our EHR platform, has earned ONC Health IT Certification. This is a meaningful milestone — it validates that our technology meets national standards for security, interoperability, and clinical functionality. It also allows us to enroll in federal programs like MIPS, which help ensure patients receive higher quality, more coordinated care.
