Meet Jountiá Boiles, Center Manager of our Kyle, TX location. In this post, she shares a closer look at the clinic and what makes the Kyle community unique.
What types of patients do you see?
Carbon Health Kyle is proud to serve a diverse community of young families, professionals, and retirees. Kyle is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Conveniently located off I-35 (a major corridor connecting Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio) we also see a significant number of travelers passing through. Our clinic sits just south of the University of Texas and north of Texas State University, two of the largest colleges in the state. We care for patients with acute, same day needs, from illnesses to injuries, and we frequently provide sports physicals for high school and college students. In addition, we support local businesses and the workforce by offering drug screenings, pre-employment physicals, and work injury care. We frequently see patients with injuries requiring X-ray, which we are able to support as well!
Where are you located?
You can find our clinic conveniently located off of the I-35 S Frontage road at 19200 S IH 35, Suite 300 in Kyle, TX. We can be found in the shopping center where Einstein Bro's Bagels, Via 313 and Willie's Ice House are located. This is just South of Costco and Home Depot.
What are the main cities or neighborhoods you serve?
Carbon Health, Kyle not only supports the city of Kyle but as well as Buda, San Marcos, South Austin, Lockhart, Wimberley, Drippings Springs and beyond.
What’s your favorite thing about working at this location?
My favorite thing about the Carbon Health Kyle location is how welcoming our community is! Our regulars are so close knit, and even with the rapid growth in the area, Kyle still holds on to its small town charm. There’s a genuine sense of support and connection here that you don’t always find in larger cities.

Any tips for first-time patients?
Some helpful tips for first time patients visiting our location: Parking can be challenging at times and I encourage you to grab a spot anywhere in the large lot outside of our clinic. Should all the spots be full (not uncommon on a Friday evening as everyone is having dinner at some of our amazing neighboring restaurants), you can always try and park at Starbucks but please be careful crossing the street.
How is Carbon Health involved in the local community?
We pride ourselves on being deeply involved with our city and the surrounding areas. We are proud members of the Kyle, Buda and San Marcos Chambers of Commerce, and regularly look for ways to sponsor different sports teams, marching bands, and non-profits. We love to support our fellow business members by tabling in different events to show our support and services with their communities as well.

Any local ties?
Many of the team members have lived in the Kyle area for sometime and are even alumni of some of the local High Schools (ex Lehman High School - Go Lobos!). We love to support local groups like Ancora Ministries, Hays County Food Bank, and Unforgettable Friends and Families with different fundraisers and events. Our team loves to enjoy lunches and snacks from local businesses like Via 313, Sabor a Mí, and Pho With Us.
