In this update, we’ll share some thoughts on the current measles outbreak, expanded services for PrEP and PEP, our updated app, and a recent partnership.
Acey Albert, MD, Midwest Area Medical Director
“With recent outbreaks in the news, we’re seeing more patients worried about measles. This highly contagious disease typically presents with common symptoms, such as pink eye, cough, runny nose, fever, and a rash. If you are concerned about measles, consider coming in for an MMR titer - a quick blood test that checks if you’re immune from a previous vaccination or infection. It’s an easy way to protect yourself and others.”
Hailey Forde, PA-C, Los Angeles Area Medical Director
“PrEP and PEP are two highly effective medications that prevent HIV infection from potential exposure. Earlier this year, we made these treatments available in all locations, which help make Carbon an essential access point for patients who may not have a primary care provider, need immediate evaluation, or face barriers to specialty care.”
Kerem Suer, VP of Design
“We designed our app to reduce noise and surface what truly matters—your care. Every detail, from the calm color palette to the simplified navigation, is meant to help patients feel grounded and in control.“
Kevin Ferguson, Center Manager, Corona, CA
“Besides seeing patients directly, we also partner with companies to bring healthcare to their teams—whether that’s workplace services or something more tailored. We’re proud to partner with the City of Corona, CA - a growing community between LA and Palm Springs. Through services like employment physicals and workers’ comp, workplace health help employees stay healthy, safe, and ready for work.“
