Your face mask should fit snug but comfortably on your face, covering your nose and mouth.
Secure your mask by tying it behind your head or use ear loops.
The more layers you have the less chance that particles carrying the virus will pass through your mask.
Are you able to breathe comfortably? That’s a good thing!
Wash your hands before and after taking off your mask.
Be sure to wash your hands before and after putting your mask on to avoid contaminants that you may have been in contact with. Also, avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes.
Routinely wash your cloth mask in the washing machine.
Using a disposable mask? Throw them away after 8 hours of use.
Avoid using cloth or disposable masks with built-in valves. While these masks protect the person wearing them, they do not protect others from potential infected respiratory droplets from coughs or sneezes released by the wearer.
Stay safe out there!
