Did you know that rectangular item that you can’t live without is full of grimy germs and bacteria? You know what I’m talking about…that thing you carry everywhere with you? The one with all the buttons and apps and information…that thing you feel weirdly lost without…

Yep, you guessed it, I’m talking about your smartphone and, unfortunately for all of us, more than likely it’s dirtier than a public restroom on a good day.

The average American touches their phone at least once every 12 minutes. That’s more than 120 times a day! So it really should come as no surprise that your phone has10x more bacteria than most toilet seats. Gross!

Think about how many surfaces your phone has touched today alone! To help reduce the spread of smartphone germs, especially during flu season, follow these simple steps.

You’ll need:

  • A Measuring cup
  • Water
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Q-tips
  • Spray bottle

Step 1:

Turn off your phone and remove it from the case.

Step 2:

Add 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water into the spray bottle.

Step 3:

Spray lens cleaning cloth and wipe your phone gently.

Step 4:

Use the Q-tip to clean all the ports.

Step 5:

Let your phone air dry.

Repeat daily to keep germs and bacteria at bay.
