Best practices for flying during COVID-19
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, do not travel.
- If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, do not travel.
- Wash hands regularly or use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol while at the airport and on the plane.
- Wear a mask or face cloth that covers your nose and mouth at the airport and through the duration of your flight.
- Check-in online and download a mobile boarding pass to avoid contact.
- Use a carry-on suitcase if possible.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Maintain 6 feet of distance while at the airport and when boarding the plane.
- Do not congregate if waiting for the restroom while on the plane.
- Use sanitizing wipes to wipe the armrests, tray table, and seats in your immediate area.
- Bring an extra bag to store used wipes.
- Pack your own snacks and a reusable water bottle. Fill up at contactless water filling stations at the airport before boarding.
- Wash clothes when you get home.
